Jesus gave this commission to His disciples: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:”
Just before He ascended into heaven, Jesus spoke again to His disciples, and instructed them, “… and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
Temple Baptist Church fulfills the Lord’s commission and obeys His instructions to go to all nations, even to the remotest part of the earth through the support of home and foreign mission
work- what we call “Missions” for short.
Missions is the work of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in and beyond our own community and to distant lands.
